Artist Statement
In April 2018, I sent a post on the Internet and asked people to send me what they want to tell their loved ones but never started writing anonymously. The receivers can be a person, a city, and can be an unforgettable experience.
Later, from ten anonymous love letters I collected, I created a series of generative graphic design prints, putting the orginal texts in parallel with the visualizations. They were first run by a sentimental tone analyzer, outputting the emotions read by computers. With the results, I coded them into generative graphics by certain design principles, giving each letters their unique meanings.
